Oct06, 09. The Oz Party in the "Land of Oz" on Top of Beech
Mountain is over, so is the traffic on the Parkway up the Mountain. No reason to stay home anymore. Come on up and enjoy
the tranquility and beautiful nature on Beech Mountain with the colors of Fall. And yes it's true Sunday Morning
October 18th we woke up to 2 inches of snow and 24F. This week however a nice warm Fall returned and some people
call it Indian Summer.
Saturday Oct 31, 09 we enjoyed the Halloween Party with great prizes for the winner of the costume contest. 1.Prize Esther as Woollyworm,
2. Paul as Convict, 3. Mistery Baby as Teddy Bear. It was just wonderful to see all the friendly folks dressed up for
holloween. Tuesday is our Specials night where the few people left on the mountain meet. It will be our last night
before our vacation. See you this Tuesday or on Tuesday 24th of November.
